Recommended Maintenance
Preventative Maintenance Service for
Ellipse IPL Systems should be carried out every 6 months
What a machine service visit consists of...
Water Tank Upgrade & Water Change
It is essential to change the cooling water in the system periodically for optimum performance and better applicator lifetime. The lamp in the applicator reaches very high temperatures during each shot and it is essential that it’s cooled down efficiently. If there is insufficient water or dirty water running in your system tank, it could adversely affect the system performance and applicator life time. We would also upgrade rubber water tanks to metal ones in old style Light/ Flex systems if applicable as recommended by DDD.
Applicator Energy Output Measurement
It is essential that your applicators are checked periodically this ensures that the energy readings given are within the specified range according to medical standards. This is especially important when you are changing the applicators frequently from treatment to treatment. In this regard over time the exact output from the applicator may not be the same as you have displayed on the screen of your Ellipse system.
Safety Checks
The Ellipse IPL systems have built in safety features which give an indication of the condition and how safe the system is to use. These checks are mandatory and are conducted in every service.
Filters Upgrade
There are water filters and dust filters in your system which needs to be cleaned or replaced periodically. Bad filters can lead to clogging and damage to your system.
Software Upgrades
DDD the manufacturer of the Ellipse IPL range release software upgrades for IPL systems every year to enhance performance. These upgrades are performed free of charge for clients during every service visit. We have exclusive access to these upgrades.
